Graduation Year: 2024

Description:  A highly competitive  team in our girls club program consisting of the 2024 graduation year. Players will receive accelerated coaching through our college preparatory practices designed to rapidly advance skill sets. Our unmatched training coupled with participating in the nation's leading lacrosse events, gives our athletes the opportunity to develop to their full potential while also showcasing on platforms in front of college coaches.

Tryouts:  This team is formed from an open tryout in September. Tryout registration will begin in August. Players selected from this tryout will travel the following summer. For current team availability please call 513-562-7331.

Coach Temple is currently coaching at St. Lawrence University in New York as a graduate assistant coach.

Temple graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2019 and earned her Bachelors of Science degree majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.  At the University of Indianapolis , Temple was a member of back to back conference teams in 2018 and 2019, which included two NCAA appearances and a regular season title in 2019.

During her senior year, she ranked second on the squad with 42 goals and fourth on the team with 55 points. Temple received GLIAC All-Academic and IWLCA honor roll honors.

Krista Temple is also a Velocity club alum and a Cincinnati native!


Eva Thorn graduated from Mercer University in Macon, GA, where she was a four-year attacker for the Bears from 2017-2020. The Cincinnati, Ohio native saw action in 55 games, earning a start in 27. During her career, Thorn registered 73 goals, 40 assists, totaling 113 points. She registered her 100th point against Cal Berkeley with a goal in the second half and was named a team captain in their 2019-2020 season. Eva took 172 shots to record a 42% shot percentage. On defense, Thorn snagged 38 ground balls and forced 13 caused turnovers. In the 2019 Conference Championship, she helped the Bears to a 15-14 overtime win with two goals. In 2018, she earned a spot on the Academic Honor Roll and the All-SoCon Academic Team. She had one of the best 8m shooting percentages in her conference and is ranked in the top 20 nationally.

Thorn will graduate with her Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and a double-major in Spanish. This is Eva's 3rd season coaching for Velocity. This summer she looks forward to creating positive relationships with the athletes and pushing them to compete at their highest ability.
