Team Overview

Graduation Year: 2024 - 2025

Description:  A highly competitive  team in our boys club program consisting of the 2024 and 2025 graduation year. Players will receive accelerated coaching through our high school preparatory practices designed to rapidly advance skill sets. Our unmatched training coupled with participating in the nation's leading lacrosse events, gives our athletes the opportunity to develop to their full potential while preparing them for high school lacrosse.

Tryouts:  This team is formed from an open tryout in September. Tryout registration will begin in August. Players selected from this tryout will travel the following summer. For current team availability please call 513-847-8491.

This will be Coach Italiano's first year coaching in the Velocity program. Coach Italiano is currently on the St. Xavier HS Varsity coaching staff.

·         Communicated with sponsors to procure products that will enhance the in-game experience for fans

·         Organized games and drills for the campers, also helped develop campers knowledge of the game

·         Managed various operational elements of the camp such as the registration table, field maintenance and dorms hallways duty

Gary Pottebaum is the head Varsity coach at Turpin HS. He played at Jackson High School and Kutztown University. He returned to his home town in 1998 and started the lacrosse program in Jackson, and was coach from 2000-2004 leading to  the Division III State Semifinals. From 2007-2010, Pottebaum was the Defensive Coordinator at the University of Dayton. He later became the coach at Lakota East High School. He and his wife Brandi are Anderson Township residents, and have two daughters, Madeline and Payton.
