Description:  A high level recruiting team in our girls club program consisting of combination grad years. Players will receive accelerated coaching through our college preparatory practices designed to rapidly advance skill sets. Our unmatched training coupled with participating in the nation's leading lacrosse events, gives our athletes the platform to showcase in front of college coaches.

Tryouts:  This team is formed from an open tryout in September. Tryout registration will begin in August. Players selected from this tryout will travel the following summer. For currently team availability please call 513-847-8491.

Coaches

Kalynn Hodel
This is Kalynn's sixth year coaching in the Velocity program.
 Kalynn graduated from Philadelphia University in 2012 with a major in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Finance.  As a varsity student-athlete for four years she was named CACC All-Academic team each year.  Kalynn graduated Summa cum Laude and was inducted into the Business School’s National Honor Society in 2010.
Kalynn started playing lacrosse when she was in 8th grade.  While at Lakota West Kalynn helped to take her team to the state tournament her senior year.  After become state runner up in the tournament Kalynn was named to the All-tournament team. Throughout high school Kalynn competed with multiple travel teams togain exposure.
In the spring of 2008 Kalynn started at Philadelphia University as a freshman.  Over the four years playing there she became more involved in the team and was named captain her junior and senior year.   Starting as a center taking drawls she gradually found her spot as a low attacking becoming a high scorer for the team.  Ending the year with 134 goals, 35 assist, 65 ground balls and 82 drawl controls Kalynn was the third highest scorer for her team.
After graduation Kalynn relocated back to West Chester and started working as a merchandiser for JCPenney.
Katherine Stachowski

This is Katherine's 6th year coaching in the Velocity program.

Katherine is a 2018 graduate of Transylvania University where she was a 2-year captain for the Pioneer women's lacrosse team. She was a  First Team All-Conference Defender 2015, 2016, Second Team 2017, and a member of the All-Sportsmanship Team 2015.

She was a Political Science major with a Mathematics minor, pursuing a career in collegiate athletics administration. While at Transy, Katherine stayed present in the Lexington lacrosse community volunteering for both LYLA (Lexington Youth Lacrosse Association) and The Lexington School Middle School girls’ lacrosse team.

Katherine also served as the President of Transylvania's Student Athlete Advisory Committee for two years and was elected to serve the entire HCAC (Heartland College Athletic Conference) as their SAAC President as well.
