Coaches

This is Amanda’s second year coaching in the Velocity program. Amanda graduated from Walsh University with a triple major in Pre-Occupational Therapy, Clinical Psychology and Sociology.

Amanda played lacrosse all four years while maintaining a 3.8 GPA all four years earning her a spot in the honors OT ceremony in 2018. Amanda started playing lacrosse in third grade and eventually earned herself 4 varsity letters from Lakota West HS. Her senior year she became team captain. In order to gain exposure and explore the competence of lacrosse, Amanda joined Velocity’s first year of travel lacrosse. This travel experience and recruiting process is where Amanda met her coach from Walsh University who offered her a spot on the team in 2014. Over the four years Amanda got to explore all the positions on the field until she dominated in the attack side. She won the award for most assists in a game as well as most assists in the season.

After graduation Amanda relocated back to West Chester and started coaching for Lakota West HS as an assistant coach. She will be returning to school in August of 2020 to receive her Doctorate in Occupational-Therapy.

This is Katherine's 6th year coaching in the Velocity program.
